Youth for Nature!

Our youth appealed to the importance of climate change in the World Children's Day 2023 held

In cooperation with the Quezon City Government and UNICEF philippines , this event will give way and stability to youth advocacy.

Mayor Joy Belmonte and Vice Mayor Gian Sotto joined together with students, youth advocates, representatives, teachers, and UNICEF affiliated youth organizations.

Vice President and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Duterte, Department of Finance Usec also attended the ceremony. Maria Tuiseco, UNICEF National Ambassador Anne Curtis, UNICEF Ph Rep. Oyun Dendevnorov, UNICEF Deputy Rep. Behzad Noubary, World Bank Country Director Dr. Ndiame Diop, and Youth Advocates Joshua Villalobos, and Yuan Santos.

Among the discussed is protecting our nature for the youth and the next generation. There were also various environmentally friendly booths to showcase Quezon City's programs promoting sustainability and climate action such as Trash to Comeback, QC Trash Trash, and Joy of Urban Farming.
